Play doh

Who doesn’t love play doh?! Well, did you know it can be used to help support children’s learning in both English and maths? I use this in English for spelling, as it’s a fabulous way for kinaesthetic learners to actually form each letter of the word and put it together. You could even create all the letters and get the pupil to put them in the correct order. It can also be used in maths – I’ve used it for number formation, Roman numerals, Egyptian numbers and so much more!
