10 frames
I use ten frames all the time to support my pupils with their mental arithmetic. A truly valuable tool, these will aid your child’s understanding of using number bonds to 10 when calculating, thus developing their maths fluency and strengthening their number sense. These can also be used for supporting children in their fractions and decimals learning, as each counter can represent one tenth.
