If you are a homeschooling family local to North Devon, Truependous Tutoring face-to-face classes are the perfect weekly supplement to your child’s learning. Brought to you by an experienced primary school teacher, the sessions are interactive and engaging, so children learn whilst having lots of fun.
The sessions take place in my classroom, situated at the top of my garden. I am keen to ensure my classroom doesn’t mimic school, so it is full of beanbags, giant whiteboards covering the walls and blackboards. Active learning is a huge passion of mine, so I like to make sure lessons are as varied as possible and pupils aren’t sat for long periods of time. This space is also equipped with a projector and a huge amount of concrete resources such as Numicon, cubes, wooden fraction blocks, counters and loads more!
